Innovation Edges Closer
RENASYS EDGE: Bringing Nurses Closer to Innovation at European Congress
At the EWMA 2025 conference, RENASYS EDGE set out to challenge the clinical status quo. Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) is often seen by nurses as complicated and disruptive—a necessity in an already chaotic environment. But with its intuitive design and award-winning simplicity, RENASYS EDGE offered something different. The problem? Many clinicians didn’t know that yet.
Our ambition was clear: spark demand for RENASYS EDGE, boost branded interest, and start stronger sales conversations with early adopters…especially the proud, hands-on nurses who see wound care not as messy work, but as an art form.
Our solution was EDGE CLOSER, an interactive on-stand experience that turned learning into a game and product discovery into a performance.
The RENASYS EDGE device was placed inside a dramatic laser-lit display, just out of reach. Delegates could ‘disarm’ each laser by answering clinical quick-fire questions using NFC technology and each correct answer removed one barrier.
Five right answers earned them access to EDGE, along with a spot on the speed leaderboard, and the nudge to complete their own EDGE PLEDGE.
By inviting delegates to physically and emotionally move closer to the product, we mirrored what the brand itself enables in practice…making healing more precise, more beautiful, and more personal.
More than 10% of conference attendees engaged with the experience – and at an industry-leading confrerence….this stand was busy.
EDGE CLOSER didn’t just showcase a product, it shifted the conversation around NPWT.
It proved that when we celebrate the pride, precision, and creativity of wound care professionals, we create real momentum for change.
