Making compliance matter
Haemophilia treatment compliance drops when boys hit adolescence, so we undertook qualitative research with patients and HCPs to understand why? Insights lead to a patient support programme…and GOFACTOR was born.

We enlisted the support of professional cyclist with team SKY and haemophiliac Alex Dowsett to head up the programme and inspire teenage boys to stay fit and active and on top of their treatment. We tapped into topics like sex, travel, and alcohol, using Alex as a mentor figure to educate in a frank and funny manner.
More Results
The programme took off, reaching hundreds of teenage boys learning to manage their life-long condition. Measurement research showed boys in the programme improved compliance with their treatment regime.
