Commercialising Evidence in Wound Care

“The results from the C-section Premier data release were superb and really helped to shift the narrative and motivate the sales team. Not only do EatMoreFruit always deliver great results, but they provide a great client experience and feel like a true extension of our team.”

New comparative study data showed that PICO, a negative pressure wound therapy device, significantly improved clinical and economic outcomes for high-risk women undergoing caesarean sections compared with a competitor. Additional analysis also highlighted disparities in outcomes for physiologically high-risk and non-white mothers under current care pathways.

The challenge

To translate complex evidence and a sensitive systemic issue into a compelling narrative that resonated with clinicians and healthcare decision-makers.

Rather than executing a traditional data-led launch, we recommended a layered strategy, linking clinical outcomes with patient experience and health system impact.

To humanise the data, we commissioned research with women who’ experienced surgical site infections following caesareans. The findings revealed the significant physical and emotional toll on new mothers, reframing the story from product performance to maternal care and system-wide value conversations.

Supported by global opinion leaders, we delivered targeted engagement across OBGYN media, podcasts and healthcare platforms.
