Breaking down barriers using peer to peer advocacy
We activated early adopters to launch Sonata, a new non-surgical intrauterine fibroid treatment in the UK. Fibroids are a common condition affecting around 1 in 3 women and the majority of treatments available involve surgical intervention. The Sonata System from US-based Gynesonics integrates imaging guidance (ultrasound) and therapy (radiofrequency) into one mobile unit and offers a new incisionless alternative to treat female patients with symptomatic fibroids.
And so, ‘Treat Smarter with Sonata’ was born. A campaign theme that quickly communicated the health economic advantage of the new treatment as well as the smarter technology behind the treatment.
